How to Use the Honor the Dead Konjure Candle
Set Your Space & Intentions-Begin by acknowledging the ancestors you wish to connect with. If you are unsure, simply open yourself to your lineage as a whole. Speak their names if you know them. If not, trust that they hear you.
Consecrate & Prepare-Align your mind, body, and space with your purpose. Honesty is crucial—whether your intention is gratitude, guidance, or protection, speak truthfully.
Dressing the Candle (Optional but Powerful)-If you wish to strengthen the bond, you may dress the candle further using personal items, additional herbs, or even meaningful bodily fluids. Some practitioners use saliva, blood, or hair as an offering to solidify the connection. This step is personal and should be done with respect and purpose.
Lighting the Flame-Place the candle on a fire-safe surface and light it with intention. This is a meal, an offering to your ancestors—let them partake. If you must extinguish it, relight it the following day until it is fully consumed.

Ancestor Herbs (for ritual work or spiritual baths, not for ingestion)
Skull Candle (included in the medium and large kits only)
Begin with Invocation-Take a moment to call upon your ancestors. Express gratitude, share your thoughts, and invite them into your sacred space.
Consecrate Your Work-Set clear intentions. Whether it’s protection, guidance, or paying homage, ensure that your heart is aligned with your words.
Dressing & Personalizing the Candles
The Honor the Dead Konjure Candle is already fixed and dressed, but you can enhance it with additional herbs or personal items.
The Skull Candle (in medium and large kits) represents ancestral wisdom and presence. Carve names, sigils, or intentions into the wax and anoint it with the Ancestor Oil before lighting.
Use of Ancestor Oil & Herbs
Oil: Anoint candles, spiritual tools, or even yourself to draw in ancestral presence.
Herbs: Sprinkle them around your altar, burn as incense, or use them in a spiritual bath for deeper communion.
Ignite the Offering-Once prepared, light the candles. Allow the flame to carry your intentions and feed the spirits. If you must extinguish them, relight them the next day—honor the offering in full.
